BuddyPress/WP User integration
Instead of creating a separate page for players, have it integrate with users BuddyPress/WP User account.

Would be good if Sports press could link to the membership area of your wp site and link sportspress player information with members profiles like buddypress or Ultimate Member so when viewing other members profiles of your site they could also view player stats etc from sportspress.....
