include easy game reporting.
The first edit is creation of a new page called “Report” under ‘Events’ in the Dashboard. This page shows only published games with a publish date that has passed – and (this is the tricky part) that have not been assigned a score. Hovering over the link of the game would show “Edit” only – “quick edit”, “trash”, “view”, and “edit results” are all not useful for this page.
With the Wordpress plugin “Adminimize” you can control what pages certain users can access in the Dashboard. What I’m proposing is a 1-page, dead simple way for teams to report on games, with the capability to easily change the score and scorers, and that’s it.
So, the third and somewhat optional step, would be to have a new page so that when click “edit” for the game – which could perhaps be renamed to “report” or something to be clear. All of the right sidebar options removed – all that the user can do is enter score and scorers
Perhaps "Enable Easier Game Reporting" could be a new checkbox Y/N on the page http://hmicsl.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sportspress&tab=events so that existing installs don't all of a sudden have a new, possibly unwanted, option.
